Preparation prior to the detoxification program is highly recommended for the following reasons:
- More effective cleanse
- Yield greater benefits
- Reduce healing crisis
The Pre-Detox phase is a time to gradually reduce your exposure to sources of toxins and prepare your body for detoxification. While this is not completely compulsory, it is very important because a sudden surge of toxins through your system during the colon hydrotherapy can be difficult to handle if your body is not prepared for it.
What to do:
For 2 days prior to the colon hydrotherapy, follow the four simple mandates below:
1. Avoid acid forming foods.
e.g. Red meat, tea, coffee, alcohol, processed foods, all dairy products including butter, cheese, cream, milk, white bread, wheat flakes, pastries, biscuits, cakes.
2. Eat alkalizing foods.
e.g. Broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, beet greens, carrots, celery, cucumbers, lettuce, grean peas, peppers, sea vegetables, sprouts, alfalfa, wheat grass, juice, avocado, tomatoes, limes and asparagus.
3. Drink plenty of fluids.
e.g. Purified water with lemon, vegetable juices such as celery / cucumber.
4. Mental preparation.
Mentally prepare yourself for the complete renewal of your body which it rightfully deserves. Commit to following the program even though it may seem difficult at times to abstain from food. Do it for your health. Imagine how good it will feel after removing substantial amounts of accumulated toxins from your body.
