The coupon serial is presented so that the merchant can keep track of duplicated coupon usage

why can't the just do first come first serve basis...i hate those with reservation!!!

The term stated that the coupon is valid daily (including weekends) except public holidays and CNY day 1 -6.

Beverage charges are as per merchant's standard menu prices.
Service charge is not included in the coupon. You may need to pay separately.

I agreed w u, merchant need us to made reservation but when come to booking keep on saying is fully book. I had encounter a few said fully book but went there it was not the case.

Appreciate your input. Reservation is in place to ensure that merchant can plan ahead for the amount of resources needed to cater the demand.

Sometimes those who made reservations did not turn up so it wasn't within the merchant's control. So we hope that those who bought the coupon can call the merchant up in advance to cancel the reservation if they are not able to make it. :)

How about service charge? 5% or 10%?

I tought everyday answered inthe Hin Kee forum said no extra charges govt/service charge. Now got??? Everyday, please clarify because i bought since the answer was none.

Those who make reservations and cannot make it for any restaurants/outlets please call and postpone or cancel lah. It is a problem for others who want to make reservations but it is all full. Those walk in also cannot go because don't know if the customers will turn up or not. Not good for us to be so irresponsible also.

I am at Hin Kee this morning. there are 5% service charge. They said everything follow everyday.com.my . I am going serious with this case...not the money issue...this is cheating...shop response very bad.....act like don't come again if you are not happy....service was very slow...20% of table occupied but take years for just 8 dishes

Can Everyday improve your list of coupon terms in the standard check list? Why always want people to ask the service charges and govt tax again and again. Those terms can be easily put in the terms for every deal. Don't you refer to other deal sites with complete coupon terms?

From your past comments that Hin Kee coupon is include service charges as below, could we claim back the extra payment from everyday?

The 5% service charge is based on gross price means if 8items total retail price is rm40 then we have to pay rm2? It is the principal of the matter imagine if over 2000 coupons sold and supposed to be not taxes or service charge then suddenly got (or any similar situation) so the restaurant makes extra rm2k+ because everyone has to pay. I don't buy/use coupons much but so far some restaurants are quite black faced. So bringing guests and having them also wait, experience bad service or food or both is a pain in the ass. We are paying customers. If you cannot meet your end of the dea,the t&c that all parties agree onl, don't sell-to all retailers out there. Please don't make buyers the victims!!! Actually i agree totally the T&C like service charge,govt tax etc is a standard thing that everyday should put up front. No need for us to ask and clarify. If charged then put there charged what percentage and based on retail price or coupon price etc.

Sneakiness will lose customers trust. Think and read the posting a few times before airing it. See everything you think we might ask is already addressed.

mamamia, I agree with you, but once this deal ends, ur comments are gone and more suc..i mean customers will continue to buy these deals. I guess this site is really not in it for the long term but cashing in while the trend is hot.

May be the Merchant is already confuse us, because previously the GROUPON MALAYSIA also have the promotion for dim sum RM10.00 for 5 dishes and only can use 2 coupon to redeem per table and not valid on Sunday.
Everyday Members have to mention to Merchant is using Everyday's cash voucher and not using coupon.

I Love Discount voucher for Jade Pot exclude service charge, we have to pay for it also. Somemore it is only valid from Mon - Sat and the Period is only valid for 2 mths. The diff is only they offer unlimited ppl per booking. I think Everyday's deal is still better. I'm just worry whether Jade Pot will able to cope for so many promotion at one time........

I am using groupon's voucher today. the food is ok. far far better then Hin Kee. the only concern is too many promotion at the same time (groupon, everyday, ilovediscount..). reservation going to have big problem. limited seat. different condition for different deals. they are the first who confuse. sure have argument later. like booking time say ok. later say not ok
