I just loved staying at the MTP - the room was original and just one of those places I will remember for a long time. The team - especially Charlie went out of her way to assist me in my short time in Georgetown - her customer service skills are to be admired. I loved the breakfast - try the local dish and forget cereals!

We were delighted with the Terrace unit - in fact, staying at The Mango Tree Place was the highlight of our entire 10 day trip to Malaysia and we stayed here for 3 nights. The staff are wonderful. Breakfast just beautiful. Maps and an impromptu guide on what to do and where to go whilst in Penang provided. The shower was superb.. the biggest shower head I have ever seen in any type of accommodation! Hawker stalls down the road, Gurney Plaza up the road and all the heritage places (or the centre of town) not a far drive away
