The hotel is quite new and the location is also very good... they usually have shuttle service to drop to the BTS/sky train which is very convenient. The room are very good and clean though the size are not very big. Over all really nice. I would suggest this hotel

I came upon Salil Sukhumvit after hours of searching online and decided to take a chance since we didn't know the neighbourhoods of Bangkok very well and had, in the past, ended up in areas we didn't care for.

What a pleasant surprise to find the Salil! From the moment we pulled into the charming courtyard and discovered the attractive, well-designed lobby, we were hooked.

Having moved to Chiangmai 3 years ago this is the first time my wife and I ever stay in a hotel in Bangkok. We found Salil hotel very conveniently located. It is about 5 minutes walk to the BTS station but you can take the free ride on the hotel Tuk Tuk. You can even call them to take you back from the station back to the hotel. You can find many entertaining places, many good restaurants and 2 supermarket Villa and Tops in Thongplor.

Salil Hotel was the 1st place that O stayed in Thailand, and they made my experience in Bankok very pleasant. The room was very pretty, and clean. Everyone was so helpful, and could understand and speak very well english (which I realized later wasn't easy to find in Thailand). I would definitely stay there again.
