Samsung Galaxy Tab 2011 New Price

May I know where i can purchase this unit without contract?

Some of IT retail centre shld have... last week I got to know abt this new Galaxy Tab launching frm a IT shop named IT ONE at 1U old wing...According to them, they shld be receiving the stocks by this week. Perhaps u can call to find out...

It appears as though the telcos have not gotten the memo on the new prices...

US start to sell this on 10 April 2011.. i guess u can check this with Samsung dealer...

but how's the market price for galaxy tab now?
anything disadvantage with the model?

The 3G version (1,599) is the same old model as that launched last year October. While the WiFi version is the same model without 3G connectivity. All features are the same. Reason of the price down is mainly due to the various Taiwan tablets are about to swamp the market with lower price and better features compare to what Samsung Galaxy tab was sold at. Acer and Asus are going to have their Android 3.0 tablets out soon with 10" screen and possibly priced at RM1500-RM1599. Gigabytes will soon follow suit. Mainwhile Viewsonic, HTC, Toshiba, Dell and Blackberry might also release their new tablets to Malaysia soon. Not too mention the market leader Apple might see this as a threat and decide to treat us Malaysia with early Ipad2 launch and offer attractive prices to keep their market share here.

Australian having it for 300AUD = less than RM1000 for 3G+wifi version..
while Malaysian still need to pay RM1599 for it...zzz...
GDP less than others , pricing of goods higher than others..

Anyone know how big is the memory? Not to mention external memory card. if still need to fork out money to buy the memory card, then better i get ipad2... But want to compare this 1st before i decide..

my boy2 ask his fren >.< not worth it =.=" so not planning to get this 1.. hehehe.. but get ipad2 need to queue for 3 hours T.T my fren queued on sun at klcc >.<
