Living a healthy life remains a great challenge to people. With the number of advice and guidelines from youtube fitness gurus to online dietitians and models, many are lost on what is actually considered a healthy life.

Our teachers state that carbohydrates and fats are not our enemies. however social media fitness experts say it is. Trying to follow people and their advice can create a lot of division and friction on what the science community agrees as “healthy life”
A healthy life is about a life that promotes habits that prevent long-term consequences and chronic diseases. They are aimed to provide harmony, peace, and less disease in our life. They also make sure we have better mental health just as we have better physical health. After all, without proper bodily autonomy, our mental health may suffer as well. So what determines a healthy life? There are three main things that make up a healthy lifestyle. That is eating, exercising, and mental health!
We are what we eat. This is an incredibly common saying. However, this may not be factually correct but it does hold a grain of truth. What we eat determines our health. The grains we consume to the diary, all have a visible impact on our health. Food is how we get the nutrients and vitamins that are necessary to fight against harmful bacteria and viruses. Food also gives us the energy to do our daily tasks including exercising and working.
Eating consistently without exercising can also lead to dire consequences such as obesity and other harmful cardiovascular diseases. In order to balance the food we consume, and the energy we have, we need to exercise. A proper balance of exercise and food can lead to a toned body, that is low in fat but made of muscles.
